The Complete Package

This package is designed to support students and their families through the entire journey of college and financial aid applications. We will be your calm and expert navigator, offering our assistance to make the process very streamlined. Included in this package are:

Exploring Student Interest

We will have personalized counseling sessions where we will explore the students’ academic interests and educational aspirations. We will also take into consideration parent’s input and financial readiness in the process. Our goal is to make sure the student can pursue their interests and passion while taking into considerations each family’s financial situation.

Planning for Standardized Testing (ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP, IB)

Standardized testing has seen numerous changes in the recent years leaving students confused about their preparation strategy. We stay on top of the changes, so you don’t have to. We will counsel our students through planning, preparation strategy, which tests to take and how many times, and evaluation of results.

Advising on Extracurricular Activities

Because colleges look beyond GPA and scores to build their well-rounded class, activities outside of classroom such as volunteering, internships, summer programs and jobs become important. We will advise students on extracurricular activities that fits their desires and how to best represent them in their applications.

Organizing the Applications Process

The application process is where the rubber meets the road. Each college application is different with various essay and deadlines. We simplify this complex process with personalized guidance to the students in making a college list, keeping track of different deadlines and packaging the applications to present a clear picture of the student.

Essay Guidance

Personal Statements or Essays are very critical part of college applications. We will work with the student in the process of self-reflection and brainstorming ideas. We will also provide our feedback on their drafts so that their voice shines through.

Preparing for Interviews

Some colleges will conduct interviews. We will help the student prepare for these interviews, should they be invited to one, by conducting mock interviews, and preparing for expected questions.

Financial Aid and Scholarship

We will help parents and students understand the various financial aid options. We will provide information and resources for students and parents to complete the necessary forms for financial aid. We will also be available to brainstorm, review and critique essays required for scholarships.

Preparing for College Visits

Campus visits bring colleges to life and are an excellent way for a tudent to find out more about the college and the social environment where they will spend their next 4 years. We provide suggestions for campuses to visit, what to look for and questions to ask.

Reviewing and Comparing Decisions

As we get closer to the destination in our journey with the students and they receive their decisions from colleges, we are available for advice. We will help compare offers, offer advice on waitlist and deferrals or guidance on any questions about financial aid packages as well as transition to college.
